ELECTRICAL

Separate electric control room:                    The onboard electrical system is very well laid out, and comprises a                                                                                            detailed way of controlling the onboard power supply and consumption.

                                                                          Controlling most of the onboard functions is from the main switch panel in                                                                               the pilothouse and the Mastervolt display. 

                                                                          In principle the entire system is so laid out that no mistakes can be made

                                                                          in switching between different power sources.

                                                                          Separate fuse walls can be found for: 12v, 24v, 240v, dimmers, main fuses,                                                                                 inverters and main breaker. all ventilated

​

Clever battery management:                         A clever battery management system with solar and wind power extends                                                                                   the life of the batteries.

​

Global Shore Power:                                      Global Shore power is connected via a lockable door under the

                                                                         aft steering station. This offers 110/220v 50/60Hz.

FRESH WATER HANDLING 

Sand Filter:                                                      Separate water cleansing sandfilter system installed

​

UV Filter:                                                          Separate UV Sterilizing water filter system. Kills bacteria and other                                                                                             contaminants in the water as it passes through the UV system

​

Permanent Shore water:                                 A separate connection for permanent shore water can be switched on

                                                                          To use at stationary mooring without mixing shore water with onboard water 

​

Lockable connection:                                     Permanent Shore water is connected in a lockable aluminium cabinet

                                                                         on aft deck under aft steering station.

​

Balancing tank:                                                In the bow of the ship there is a separate forward water balancing tank, for                                                                               moving weight forward or aft, depending on cruising agains waves or with                                                                               waves for optimal cruising comfort.

DIESEL HANDLING                

 

Manyfold System:                                           Separate manyfold system for moving diesel between tanks.

 

Balancing tank:                                               Separate forward long range, or diesel balancing tank, for moving weight                                                                                forward or aft, depending on cruising agains waves or with waves for

                                                                         optimal cruising comfort.

 

Diesel Polisher:                                               Cleaning diesel fuel in tanks.

 

Diesel Water Separators:                               Dubble

INTERIOR INFO

Lounge:                                                            Just behind the pilothouse, and in front of the spacious saloon, you will find                                                                             the central lounge with a relaxing, reading, social or TV/cinema area.

Pilot berths:                                                     The wide Lounge sofas could easily act as pilot berths, close to the                                                                                             pilothouse during passages

 

Galley:                                                              The wide settee area offers comfortable seating for 8 people

 

Fabrics:                                                             Exclusive fabrics in the lounge and the galley have been chosen

                                                                          to match the interior style.

Magic galley table;                                          The magic galley table offers practical hide away lockers and drawers,

                                                                           that can be accessed at different sides.

 

Galley management:                                       Over 3.5m galley benches, and smart designed water collection system for                                                                                hand wash and stowing bottles or washing-up liquids.

                                                                           Good handhold with fiddle rail throughout the whole galley area.

                                                                           The galley, central cabin entrance “chinese walls” and overhang stowage                                                                                cabinets, offers ample storage space.

 

Galley waste sorting:                                       Due to environmental friendly thoughts of waste sorting, the galley has

                                                                          easy accessed different sorting trays pre build.

 

 

Galley connection to Flybridge.                                                 

and top sun lounge:                                         In the galley there is a connecting openable hatch to the flybridge

                                                                           and top sun lounge. 

                                                                           This hatch is situated under the flybridge bench and can be accessed

                                                                           even in bad weather. 

                                                                           This hatch also serves as a connection between flybridge and galley with                                                                                  snacks, coffee, drinks and dishes, to prevent unnecessary outside transport

    

Wood material:                                                 The interior walls, cabinets and floors are handmade custom fitted                                                                                             in a Scandinavian bright style with varnished Oak.

Access mechanic:                                              Hidden paneling is mounted with screws throughout the boat at

                                                                            access points needed to reach behind walls.    

 

Access electric cabling:                                    Electric cable routing is laid out on cable ladders for future easy                                                                                                 maintenance and access.

ILLUMINATION                                                 Yeti - Explorer has a meticulously equipped dimmable 

                                                                             light system installed, each with separate fuses.

VENTILATION:                                                  Yeti - Explorer has ample both mechanical and passiv ventilation                                                                                                throughout the whole ship, and is equipped with pre welded attach points                                                                              for wind collecting awnings, to minimize airconditioning use,

 

Dorado vents:                                                     Forward dorado vents lets cool air flow in from the bow area and                                                                                                owners cabin. They are also connected to the pilothouse for good                                                                                              ventilation for captain and crew.

 

Mechanical 24/7 vent:                                        In the aft of the ship there is a switchable mechanical fan that is                                                                                                  planned to run 24/7. This gives a very fresh and ventilated                                                                                                            atmosphere throughout the ship.

Pre welded attachment points:                         Over the Owners cabin ventilation hatches, at the forward sun                                                                                                    lounge sofa, and over the Pilot house ventilation hatches, there are pre-                                                                                    welded eyelets for “future” all directional awning tents (not included). 

​

                                                                             These can help collect and direct wind from any direction so air                                                                                                  conditioning use is minimal. The hatches over the Pilothouse are                                                                                                also mounted at different directions, so flowing air can be collected                                                                                          even if the boat is moored at a not favorable direction.

 

Cross ventilation:                                                Guest-room 1 and the Washroom is side by side, and are each                                                                                                     fitted with openable side windows/portholes. 

​

                                                                              In the wall between  Guest-room 1 and the Washroom there is also a                                                                                         similar openable window. This gives the opportunity for, the so                                                                                                   appreciated cross ventilation in the Guest room 1 to be carried out.

 

Shower ventilation:                                             The Showers are equipped with mechanical ventilation, to ensure a                                                                                           fresh status and establish moisture leaving the boat.

 

Electric room ventilation:                                    The electric room is also ventilated

 

Engine room ventilation:                                    Mechanical engine room ventilators, controlled from the Pilothouse                                                                                           instrument panel, provides good ventilation throughout the engine                                                                                           room. The air intakes are placed hidden from spray high under the                                                                                             aft roof, and the outlet is places behind the protected seating pod.

 

Galley extra ventilation:                                      For a very good airflow at hot days or when the chef is  working                                                                                                 hard in the Galley, the flybridge hatch can be opened to access the                                                                                           airstream.

 

Pilothouse and aft door ventilation:                  Galley roof hatch together with Pilothouse door and the oversized                                                                                             aft entrance door will maximum the airflow.

Sun protection screens:                                      YETI - Explorer has a full set of professional military/rescue grade                                                                                               retractable sun protection screens made. They are not fitted, but a                                                                                             choice for next user to provide.

​

Radiators:                                                             Separate controlled waterborne radiators will be found in Owners Cabin,                                                                                 Guest room 1, Washroom, Galley, Engine room, and aft outside lockers.                                                                                   All showers compartment are equipped with waterborne  towel dryers.
